Lately there has been a troubling trend in sneakers with arch supports. First, for some unknown reason the toe box doesn't fit. I have been through two issues with this... the box too tight around my front toe and too tight on the outside toe. But also, there is this tendency to make the shoes extremely hard all around the top. When really the hard part needs to be in the middle of the shoe to the left and right to support your arch. This pair of shoes finally gives a lite touch around the top of the shoe and also gives a wide toe box. I put the shoes on and just felt... omg.. this is going to do it. And I have been walking around all day with the ability to stretch my toes. I actually got the bigger size 9.5 (when I am typically 9) but I think that was just right.I like the shoe, but it is maybe a 1/2 size too big. I don't slip around too much when I snug up all the laces. I have had this issue with Saucony before, but the smaller size tends to be too small. If you fluctuate between a size, I would try the smaller size first, if you don't you may be okay with the size you usually get.I really like this shoe. Keeps me from either over or under pronation. While walking, my feet hit the ground straight on. The toe bed is a little wide but that's ok for me since I have bunions and need the extra room. Might not be as attractive as other shoes because of this width. It is a little spendy but, I believe, worth it. The only con I have is that is has very little heal cushioning. I remove the one that came with it and inserted my own orthotic insole.I was able to fit an othotic easily into the foot bed. I have plantar faciitis. I had to use the extra eyelets in order to get a snugger fit for my narrow heels, but as I walk the laces loosen up and I don't feel the support.. be aware the laces on these shoes are stretch and they loosen up...I will have to replace them with laces of different material...I am not a runner, but I know that a running shoe gives extra toe room, which I need. Just started wearing them (only two days) so I will find out how well I like them.I've only worn them a couple times but they're the first shoe that in the 1st few wears I haven't absolutely hated. I have issues with my ankles, knees and heels. Normally my heels get blistered up the 1st time I wear new shoes. So far so good no blistering at all. I just recently had knee surgery and my other shoes don't have enough support which I didn't realize until I put these on. There is something to be said about instant pain relief from simple switching shoes. The shoes pictured are size 9, the toe box is wonderful and roomy. The heel is cushioned and it pushes you forward so you strike where you're supposed to rather than heel to toe like I struggle not to do. They're wonderful shoes and I am very happy with the purchase.Saucony running shoes are my go to sneakers. These are the best that I've had in awhile; they have loosened up the toe box. The one thing that I'm trying to sort out is a tendancy to overpronate in these shoes or roll my ankle to the outside of the shoe. This is actually something I've never done in a sneaker from my recollection, so I am still determining how much I like them. That said, with good stretching, I tend to do pretty good in these shoes. These sneakers are very comfortable and the fit is perfect. I ordered 1/2 size larger to accommodate a heavier sock and glad that I did. They were pricey but you get what u pay for. I recommend these for walking and casual wear for activities. One thing is that the shoe laces can be a little more sturdy for the cost of the shoe. I found the laces to be kind of thin and cheap. The design of this shoe was slightly different from an earlier pair of Saucony running shoes I had and it caused a rubbing on a bunion that didn't happen with the earlier design so I will have to return them.Tried it in a store and really liked the support, unfortunately they didn't have my size so I went online, glad I did, saved me plenty time and money. Overall great design for running and walking, the only downside is my feet gets warm way faster, probably because of the thicker tongue.Saucony are great shoes, they last me years at a time. The fit is always as expected.Parfaitement adapté à mon pied, pronation sévère et besoin du soutien d’arche fort !
